An update on my last post:
Forgiveness is taking place, the road to recovery has started. It is proving to be a painful and demanding road, so please continue praying for my family. My dad will still go to the coast for 6 weeks, but he seems adamant to make a change.

Please consider attending an Al-Anon meeting in your area, or even better if there is an AACA (Al-Anon for Children of Alcoholics) meeting available. Your mother would also benefit from this wonderfully healing program - I know I have been married to an alcoholic for 28 years, although he has been sober for the last 3½ years. We will keep praying for you and your family
